Introduction

It is necessary to have an intro into this story as it comes from a child psychologist. One would question my veracity considering the laws of Dr.-patient confidentiality. In November 2003 I saw a couple of major moves in the market that could net an investor a tidy sum especially with the use of options. I contacted a very good friend who is the CFO for an international Childrens Charity. I suggested the trades and he accepted my advice. Three weeks and four trades later he netted for himself $210,000.00. He also invested $5,000 of the charities money. Due to the loss of time while the directors debated, they didn't come near the proportional amount of my friend. The amount was substantial enough that the directors have now given my friend Cart Blanc to do as he pleases. One of the directors is a child psychologist. He spends more time at the charity then at his private practice. He asked my friend if I would take him on as a client. I accepted him only due to my friend's request. When asked how much I charge, I told him since he donated so much of his time I'd take him on like my friend that is for free. I did ask him for stories about child bondage cases that he may have. By changing names and dates he told me about the few cases he had. Most were of traumatic experiences, not the sort I was hoping for. Two weeks ago after I called him with very good news about two trades, he promised to send me a copy of his notes on one case that I'd appreciate. The copy came redacted with names and dates blacked out. The name Snooks was the Doctor's choice after the character made famous by Fanny Brice. I have filled out each incident since notes would be a bit boring, however I have left nothing out and only contributed enough to make the story coherent. The story will be told from the Doctor's perspective.

List of Character's:

1. Snooks the little girl 2. Jane Doe, her mother 3. John Doe, her father 4. Dr. C the child Psychologist

---

The Doe family came for family counseling for a problem with their daughter. I first took a family history which follows. Snooks, the daughter was 9 ½ at the time of our meeting.

Snooks came into the world the usual way. She weighed 6lbs 7oz. and was healthy in all ways. Her parents were happy with their bundle of joy except for one minor flaw, Snooks was fussy. She was always moving about and cried until someone picked her up. It seemed that she was insecure and needed the surety of being held.

At the six month checkup baby Snooks lay on the examination table, fussy as ever. The Pediatrician took Snooks wrists, crossed them then held them down above her head. Immediately she calmed down. Her mother was astounded.

"What did you do?" she asked.

"Its an old trick. A baby will feel secure when pinned downed like this. Although it works better with girls than boys." The Doctor replied.

At the nine month checkup, Jane asked the doctor if he knew of a way to keep Snooks quite while in the car seat or when ever she couldn't be carried. The doctor being of middle Eastern descent, was well aware of the custom of swaddling. That is when you tightly wrap a baby in a blanket. He suggested it to Jane. She knew it as the Native American custom of carrying the baby or 'Papoose'.

At three years of age, Snooks often would climb out of bed and go to her parents room and crawled in with them. A few times interrupting an intimate moment. If she laid unencumbered, she'd be all over the bed. If one of her parents held her she'd barely move the rest of the evening. John suggested tying Snooks to her bed but her mother objected.

The defining moment came when at age five, Snooks had her bath. She was sitting on her father's lap while he brushed her hair. She was squirming and fidgeting, not that she didn't want her hair brushed, she just won't sit still. John, out of frustration took her hands, crossed her wrists and held them behind her back. Instant calm without a word being said. Jane saw what had occurred. She got up and told John not to send Snooks to bed until she returned. John heard the garage door open and a car leave. When Jane returned she saw John holding Snooks with his arms around her. Snooks sat quietly watching the TV. Jane had a bag from the local grocery store. There is a toy section at the store and Jane remembered seeing something that might help keep Snooks quite. Jane sat down and called Snooks over to her. She took out a plastic set of kids handcuffs. Snooks looked wide eyed at the toy as her mother put them on her wrists.

"Do you like them?" asked Jane.

Snooks nodded and smiled.

Jane showed her the button on top of the ratchet and had her release herself. Now the kid could sleep and if necessary go to the toilet, releasing herself and re-cuff herself without waking anyone.

That solved the problem of her crawling into bed with them. Snooks slept soundly at night and woke refreshed in the morning. The problem was that being a toy that was used so much they didn't last very long. Snooks freaked when the first set of handcuffs broke. Jane called John at his office and told him to bring home another set, two if possible. John brought home six sets. He had bought all available plastic kids handcuffs. From then on they had a supply of the toy cuffs on hand.

Snooks did well when she was restrained with the toys. She had been warned not to tell anyone for if she did they'd never let her use the little toys again.

For sleepovers Jane came up with the idea of using a sleeping bag. She convinced Snooks to think of it as a cocoon and what could be more confining than that? In school Snooks would put her wrists together and visualize herself cuffed. This worked as she was calm and attentive in class.

At age Eight Snooks wanted to take her bondage further. She trusted her father for this type of entertainment. He never cared but her mother seemed more and more concerned. Snook's aunt was about to have a baby and Jane was going to help her. Jane would be gone for three or four days helping her sister.

After her mother left, Snooks brought her father and old jump rope. The cord was old and worn soft. She asked her daddy if he'd tie her up. She was tired of the plastic cuffs and wanted something new. John cut the handles off the rope and then cut the rope in two parts. He tied her hands behind her back and tied her ankles together. He then tied her wrists to her ankles, Snooks was hogtied. John placed a large pillow under her chest and head. She laid quietly for the rest of the evening watching TV. Snooks never even struggled with the bindings.

For three days, after school and her homework was done she'd ask to be tied. One that she enjoyed was being hogtied but sitting Japanese style. Sitting on the floor her daddy spoon feed her. When she needed to go to the toilet her daddy would untie her. When she came back they'd try a different position.

John knew that Jane would learn about all the tying so at the first chance he told her. Jane was upset. John was able to convince her that Snooks was happy and doing well. To deny her now could have disastrous side effects.

That summer you could find Snooks tied in the basement in a variety of positions. She found suspension to be exciting. This worried her parents. They tried to talk to her about her 'game'. When they wouldn't tie her, Snooks would be sullen and morose. Snooks would get her toy cuffs and sit in the closet and not come out. She wouldn't eat or drink until her parents gave in. As time went on Snooks wanted more elaborate bondage.

A year later, at night she wanted to be tied with several loops around her body then secured to the bed. On weekends she wanted to try marathon sessions. That was what made her parents decide to bring her to me.

The first two sessions were to get a family history. The third session was for a one-on-one with Snooks. Prior to our meeting, I had Snooks take several tests to help in her evaluation. IQ and Emotional and other psychology tests that would show me the twists and turns of her personality.

My evaluation of Snooks was a well adjusted little girl. Snooks was polite and compliant. Snooks grades in school were good and her deportment compatible to the teachers desire. Overall Snooks was as good as gold except she liked being tied up.

In the one-on-one I found that she had no fantasy about being abducted by kidnappers or pirates. She did not want to be spanked or experience pain. There was no guilt that needed to be expunged. Most important, there was NO sexual stimulation to the bondage. She just liked having her parents, and only her parents tie her up.

The next meeting of Snooks and her parents was to explain my findings. Before we started I told them a story about when I was a graduate student and an incident that was discussed in class. That morning in the newspaper there was a story about a farmer who after harvest he'd sell his crops and buy a brand new Cadillac. He'd then get a backhoe and dig a hole. He would then push the new car into the hole. The car would then be in the hole up to the first door. There was a picture of him pushing the car into the hole. This was the ninth car to be treated in this fashion. There was another picture of the rear ends of eight Cadillacs sticking up out of the ground.

The professor asked the class if we thought the man was in need of therapy? All but two students thought this guy needed help. The professor went on to read from the article. This farmer was an active member in the Grange, a leader in 4H and helped out in the boys and girls scouts. Did we still think he needed help? Again all but two students agreed the farmer should be in an institution.

The professor said:

"Let us side step the farmer for a moment and discuss hobbies. How many of you think you have to have a screw lose to jump out of a perfectly good airplane or a bridge or a mountain top? Do any of you see the futility of a jogger running for an hour and ending up at the same place they started? What is on top of the mountain that compels a climber to expend all that time and energy to get there?"

The professor paused letting the questions to sink in.

"Are any of those activities different from the farmers? The farmer isn't threatening life and limb by burying an expensive car. What would happen if you denied him his quirk? Could he wind up in a tower with a deer rifle and pick off people on the street? What I'm am saying is, If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

The Doe family sat each with a different expression on their face. Each expression told me something of what they were thinking. Jane Doe's expression of shock thought I was suggesting that Snooks was fine and to leave her alone with what Jane thought was a perversion. John Doe knew he was correct in thinking that stopping the bondage would be more detrimental then helpful. Snooks looked confused but knew that what ever I was about to say would be in her favor.

First I agree that Snooks has a problem, especially the way its progressing and that has to be stemmed now (Snooks looked crest fallen). I believe that for much of her problem she'll out grow it once puberty sets in. There is much to be said in that she trusts only you to tie her and be there for her. I believe we can wean her from desiring so much bondage. I don't believe we'll be able eliminate it from being a part of her psyche. She'll be dependent on you until she finds someone she can have faith and share her desire.

That was four months ago. I saw her once a week for three months and now once a month. She is still happy even though we have put limits on her. For extreme bondage, no more than an hour and not more than once a month. Suspension, no more than fifteen minutes. I have given her several more limits and she seems to have accepted them knowing that she has been finally understood.

Thus is the story of Baby Snooks which goes to show you, Truth is stranger than fiction.
